Yay!  Switchfoot fans everywhere will be excited to know that “Hello Hurricane” is just a matter of days away from being made  available at stores and online at iTunes.  However … today, you can download another song from the album!

Behind the heart of Switchfoot

Longtime Switchfoot fans know that lead singer Jon Foreman is more than just a musician.  In a blog for the popular blog site “The Huffington Post,” Foreman confessed that  ”these days I have a hard time writing a song that feels bright or hopeful.”

With termoil occuring left and right, Foreman is optimistic and hopeful that the human race can churn out more hereos in this troubled time.

“Find out what the local food bank looks like. Look up the local Habitat for Humanity. What is the world you want? You choose it with every breath,” said Foreman.

I missed it, but according to Switchfoot’s blog, a graphic at the beginning of the video footage introduced the song as “Free” by Hello Hurricane.  Oops!

(FYI Fox … “Hello Hurricane” is the name of the upcoming album, not the band!)
