@NatalieGrant Sitting on studio couch now just hoping it’s my imagination.

@NatalieGrant recording….again. Day was going great until I was paralyzed w/pain in my right side. I know this pain. Kidney. Stone.

Grant, who is currently on a multi-city national tour with Jeremy Camp, obviously has no time for such a condition!  Pardon the pun, but let’s pray that this passes quickly.

The American Music Awards, a show created by Dick Clark in the 70′s, has released their nomination list for the upcoming 2009 awards show.  Nominations in the Contemporary Inspirational/Favorite Artist category included Jeremy Camp, Brandon Heath, and Mary Mary.

Voting for the awards show is now open to the general public and votes can be placed by clicking here.

The awards show, which honors artists in the mainstream and Christian music world alike, will take place live at the NOKIA Theatre in L.A.,  on Sunday, November 22nd (8:00p-11:00p ET/PT, ABC-TV).

UPDATE:  In a press release issued by his record label, Heath was shocked by his AMA nomination.  “I’ve been watching the AMA’s for years — never thought I’d have the honor of being a nominee. I consider myself very blessed to do music for a living,” Heath said upon learning of the recognition.
