It’s Tuesday, so it’s time to shine the spotlight on what’s now in Christian Music! This week, it’s Flyleaf, Mission Six, and The Rubyz
Flyleaf/Momento Mori — Preordering
You might ask yourself, “why pre-order something digital that I’ll be able to download in a few weeks anyway?” We think that’s valid question, however the hook with pre-ordering on the iTunes music store is that you’re usually able to fetch a bonus track or two that won’t be made available on or after album release day. So, “Momento Mori” pre-orders will be able to download a Flyleaf song entitled “Bitter Sweet” while those who don’t preorder won’t be able to.
Mission Six – Not Too Young
Christian Tween Band Mission Six is made up of 5 tweens/teens between the ages of 12-14. They are – Noah (lead vocals, guitar), Issac (vocals, keys), Michael (vocals, bass), David (drums) and Anthony (lead guitar). Priced at $9.50 on the iTunes store, we’re not sure if this album is worth buying, as it only contains ten tracks, five of which are dubbed “Sing Along” cuts.
The Rubyz- Sound Off
Oh how we love it when people substitute an ‘s’ with a ‘z.’ Marketed towards the preteen crowd, “Sound off” from The Rubyz reminds us a lot of the likes of Everlife, Taylor Swift, and Jordan Sparks.

I love Flyleaf and Paper Tongues both. I saw them on tour together.
Flyleaf is so cool to their fans. If you pre-order their new album, Memento Mori through i-Tunes, you get extra music not available on the regular release. Check it out:
