Kanye West is dead, Zach Braff is dead, and the Gospel Music Associationis dead are just some of the many rumors that have been floating around the blogosphere over the past few weeks.
A quick search on Twitter for the term “GMA” will get you know where, especially during the early morning hours when Good Morning America is on-the-air. However, a search for “Gospel Music Association” reveals another story.
Kathryn Darden of Examiner.com went to the source and was told by a Gospel Music Association official that there are no plans to shut-down the non-profit organization.
Even still, rumors continued well into the night on Tuesday, including that John Styll, former president of GMA, is considering some sort of legal action against the association.
All in all, it appears that these claims are unsubstanciated and frankly, just rumors.
As of 6:40AM Nashville time, GMA has yet to release a statement on the subject.

Bye bye!
Our sources are telling us that GMA will remain open for **now.** We’ll just have to wait and see if it stays this way.
